Registrations for MusiCamp 2026 will open in the Spring of 2026. We are excited to announce the following programs:

• DAVID J PETERKIN SYMPHONIC BAND Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced instrumentalists, held August 2-8, 2026
• FRANK E DUNNIGAN CONCERT BAND Recommended for Beginning to Intermediate instrumentalists, held August 2-8, 2026
• JAZZ BAND WORKSHOP Recommended for students ages 13-18, with at least one year of instrument experience. held August 9-15, 2026
• MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE Recommended for students ages 12-18, with any level of experience, held August 2-8, 2026

AGE RESTRICTION

The age limit to register and attend MusiCamp is 18, and cannot turn 19 prior to the start of camp.

SCHOLARSHIPS and BURSARIES

Scholarships and bursaries are available for those who need financial assistance. Scholarship applications include an applicant statement, recordings and a reference letter. Bursary applications include a statement of financial need and a reference letter. All documents, links, and statements must be submitted through the online form: Scholarship and Bursary application.

You can apply for both Bursaries and Scholarships, and the deadline for application is May 15.

Another scholarship opportunity is the Mike Achtymichuk Scholarship. This is a $1000 award open from May 1st to June 30th, so apply soon! This scholarship is not administered by MusiCamp Alberta so be sure to apply for MusiCamp Alberta scholarships at the link above as well. The Alberta Band Association will notify you regarding the Mike Achtymichuk Scholarship.
